  • There are plenty of clinics around. What's different and unique about Tattva?
Glad you asked! We have conceived Tattva an a one-stop-solution for all aesthetic needs, backed by the best doctors and professionals. So, unlike typical clinics we have put skin, hair and dental under one roof. Tattva is also different in that only our highly-experienced doctors lead the procedures themselves (and never leave it to technicians). We bring together the best technology (US FDA approved machines and materials), and the best doctors in one plush setting for a memorable service to our guests.
  • Can I take procedures instantly without any consultation?
Yes, you may. But we recommend that ideally all guests consult the doctor before a procedure. This way the doctor can ensure that the procedure is done according to the guests' unique skin requirements.
  • Do I need to do a blood test before consulting a dermatologist?
No, that will not be necessary. Just walk into Tattva, and let us take care of the rest.
  • What activities can I not do after a skin procedure?
We design our procedures such that there will be minimum restrictions on how you live life. Typically, you can easily carry out most of your daily activities after the procedure. For some procedures, we may advise caution against exposure to sun and UV rays. Your doctor will share a care plan for every procedure.
  • How are medifacials different than facials at a parlour?
Standard facials at salons and parlours typically just pamper the skin, but don't treat the skin and its related conditions. Medifacials are target oriented. They are specific and deliver required energy and nutrition to your specific needs. Think of medificials as new-age facials, performed under the supervision of dermatologists, that rejuvenate the skin form underneath.
  • How important is diet to skin health?
In a word: "Very". The skin is the largest organ of your body and is a quick reflection of your state of being! At Tattva, we take diet and nutrition very seriously. We have dedicated nutritionists to counsel guests on general nutrition for skin rejuvenation, as well for specific underlying conditions such as PCOD/PCOS, diabetes, etc.
  • How frequently should one get dental checkups ?
The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends a visit to the dentist at least once a year, but making an appointment once in six months prevents a host of oral related problems. In fact the ADA recommends visiting the dentist proactively from when kids are 6months - 1year old.
  • Should I eat before a dental procedure ?
Always yes. Definitely! There may be a 'down-time' after a dental procedure. So it is always advisable that one visits the dentist on a full stomach.
  • How long after a dental filling can I eat ?
We ask guests to wait at least 30mins after a regular filling, before they can have something to eat. For those getting aesthetic fillings we typically advise to avoid coloured foods, and to avoid chewing hard meals for 24hours. This is so that there is minimal risk of discoloration and deformation of the aesthetic filling material before it sets.
